Design a federation approved competition jump that would raise brand awareness at key equestrian events.
As part of our spotlight partnerships, PonyApp provided posted articles, videos and results to our users and social following in exchange for visibility at strategic events. One of the highest visibility opportunities was to place a Ponyapp jump in the competition area, normally the highest ticket price partnership package. My job was to design a jump that would bring brand awareness while keeping within federation regulations.
I started my design project by making a mood board of competition obstacles, materials and colors.
My initial rapid sketches allowed me to quickly explore multiple compositions and obstacle types.
Then I mocked up the jump design on Illustrator and communicated the specs with the manufacturer.

Weekly email series including The PonyWorld Weekly and PonyApp Pro-Tips rounded up our weekly Spotlight content and educated users on new PonyApp features. We routinely interviewed top athletes and influencers in the sport for exclusive content that also promoted PonyApp's key features and use-cases for our users.
Trigger emails were sent to users upon completion of conversion events such as creating their account, adding the first horse to their stable, and upgrading to our premium subscription. These emails usually had links to online tutorials for unlocked features and FAQs and tips for the feature they just accessed.
